GreeceThe location is super nice and the view is magnificent. The host was very nice and very friendly. Also, he was super helpful and waited for our late arrival. The room was very clean and cozy and our private bathroom was big and nice. Lastly it was very easy to pay by cash. There are two ATM near the house, literally 2 minutes by car. For us if you want to stay in Vagar either for one night or more you have your answer, the Atlantic view guest house 😁.

Czech RepublicExcellent location in Sørvágur, very convenient for exploring Vágar and using public transport (3 bus stops within walking distance, with timetables available next to the staircase). The ferry to Mykines is just steps away. The house has a lot of charm and a cozy atmosphere. You're basically staying in someone's home, as the owners live downstairs. The shared living room has some books available (mainly in Danish), while the dining room features a large map of the Faroes as well as island maps and guides. There are also some board games to choose from. The beds were comfortable and the shared kitchen is very well equipped for cooking simple meals. The view from the kitchen and dining room over the bay is beautiful, especially with the changing Faroese weather and spectacular tides. The binoculars available for guests were a lovely touch for watching the landscape and seabirds. I also appreciated the easy self check-in.

Very near to airport, very kind host. I was there during the strike, they took all the time to explain things and help if that was needed. The hostel is very basic, but had everything you needed. Like enough room and stuff in the kitchen, enough bathrooms and toilets. Also enough parking space for cars.

Happy to see a solid hostel in the Faroes. Great value for money on an often expensive island. Perfect location if you want to stay close to the airport. Plenty of parking too so great to explore this beautiful island. And a lovely host who also runs Kassie & Mia's Home in Vestmanna, which was an absolutely perfect place!

I was stayed there in Sep 2023 for 3 nights. Overall was good. When you reached there, just referred to the notice on the wall that called the owner phone number, he will tell you your room number and self check-in. Kitchen was full of facilities. Room was clean but very small. Allowed to free use washing machine. No problem for parking. The price is cheapest in Faroe Island.
The owner may come in night time to collect the room charge. He is friendly & helpful.
