United StatesVery cozy home with great ambience. Loved the mix of old and new - especially with real fireplaces in many of the rooms. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms was especially welcome. The hosts installed a Christmas tree for our seasonal visit which was a nice touch.

United KingdomBeautiful location to relax on the river, you can spot some curious sheep and cows from the other side of river.
The lodge was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious.
The kitchen was well equipped with good pots and pans. There is a dishwasher.
The hot tub was great to relax in.
We visited NT Croft castle, clun castle and water break it's neck waterfall.
We also forgot something, we contacted Simon and Jane who made sure to send it quickly through the post

The location was so peaceful, Rob the owner was very helpful and left us a lovely welcome pack. Teddy the dog was so gentle bless him. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having plenty of parking for our 2 cars, the security was excellent and plenty of hot water.
It's a beautiful part of the country and the cottage felt like a haven from daily life.

We liked the ease of parking and the lovely welcome pack.We liked the views and how lovely and quiet it was and of course the tail wagging welcome from Teddy the dog. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay at Stable cottage.

Well equipped, very comfortable, great location, excellent shower, good size bed, off road parking, quiet, great views from the kitchen window — you can make out Ludlow Castle (when it’s sunny)!

Bed was really comfortable.
Car parking spaces on the street.
Just a short walk to pubs, takeaway's and an Indian restaurant.
