I was thinking for the price it could only be awfull. Totally wrong. Nice staff. Nice enough room. Lovely well presented breakfast. Friendly breakfast staff. Free parking. Nothing negative to say. It's not raffles but it's also not trying to be raffles. Excellent value hotel

Good location, king bed, clean updated bathroom, excellent breakfast!

The location, Speen is on the edge of Newbury and was easy to walk around. Enjoyed after dinner strolls. The food was good.

Liked that it was a resort, not just hotel. Liked the coy pond and proximity for nice path walk to Donnington Castle.

Everything from the beautiful grounds to the gorgeous house. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble the receptionist went out of his way to be helpful. The restaurant was excellent offering a superb array of breakfast choices along with hot choices all for £8.00 There was a relaxing bar also offering hot meals. We were visiting Highclere and I have to say this choice of hotel made the trip even more special. Thank you Donnington and all your staff.

It was quiet and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and I loved the room layout.

Beautiful cottage bed & breakfast Lovely friendly hosts, very welcoming and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as they can. Large ammaculate bedroom with a fridge, kettle, hairdryer and tv. Comfortable bed. Will definitely recommend this lovely place. Thank you Kate and Dermot x
