United StatesThis is a lovely, old building with clean and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately the heatwave that hit England made the rooms extremely hot and stuffy but they did supply an oscillating fan for everyone. Being able to.open more windows would be an improvement but the staff were so helpful and friendly, plus they were all suffering the heat as well. The breakfast was good with an excellent choice of cooked items as well as cold. I had lunch there one day and it was also excellent. Top marks for trying to help everyone live with the heatwave!!!

Great quiet location next to the river beautiful walks, staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very nice and spacious, would highly recommend if you’re in the area to stay here, very easy access into Harlow town also only a few mins walk to railway station, free parking with plenty of space

Spacious, private, generally quiet in day time, the hot tub was good and car parking by the lodge was helpful. Decent WiFi. The local area is quite nice. Bar/eatery on site looked nice but never used.
