This is an exceptional hotel in a great location. Old historic building with contemporary extension to rear, focused around a nice courtyard garden. Our room was lovely with quirky, individual decor and very comfy beds. The breakfast was great with a full range and locally sourced. Great location within the town centre but with parking if arriving by car.

It was clean, comfortable, very convenient for town centre. We walked to and from theatre which was great because I’m not the most mobile person but it was an easy walk. Flat and quick. Beautiful bathroom.

The cottage was perfect. Very clean with everything you could need and a great location. Tea, coffee, milk and juice were provided plus breakfast cereals, eggs, biscuits, butter and even ground coffee. The kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of basic oils, spices and seasonings. Overall it was the perfect base for a short break. I couldn't fault it. Very much looking forward to coming back.
