I loved how fresh it smelled when we walked in. The attention to detail was fab. Everything we needed and more was provided. A welcome box, tissues, toothbrushes and paste, fairy liquid, sponges and tea towels to wash, towels, floor matt. for the price we paid, it was excellent. Perfect for a nights stay over. No frills just creature comforts. By the way, I love Milky Ways and there were two double bars there for me to enjoy, not to mention, Yorkshire Gold teabags. We will definitely come again. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years and this was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The extra amenities in the room, the space and the service was incredible. We requested a few things to our room and it was brought swiftly on a sliver platter. We had a few extra requests and they were accommodated if possible by the hotel. I would recommend, it was very clean and comfortable! 5*

The staff at Leighton House were very welcoming and accommodating, we arrived a little early and were able to check in easily, and when we left we were able to stay parked in the carpark for a few extra hours to explore the city which was great. The included breakfast was delicious and widely varied to what everyone liked. Comfy bed and good bathroom, we had a small room but that was to be expected as that is what we paid for!

This is such a cosy hut. The bed is super comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is immaculate. There are lots of little extras and the views are beautiful. I work in Bath most weeks and stay at The Shepherds Hut or Little Nest next door whenever I can because I love the peace, tranquility and privacy. The hosts are super helpful if you need anything. Private parking, somewhere to prepare a meal, and just a short drive to work

I work in Bath most weeks and love to stay here. It's a wonderful peaceful getaway. The Little Nest is so welcoming. It's only a short drive to Bath so for me, much nicer than parking at a car park and checking into a hotel. The private drive and picnic area are a treat, and the cooking facilities and fridge mean I can prepare my own meals. Hosts are very helpful and easy to contact.

Peaceful and secluded little cabin in a rural area with dedicated parking, kitchenette and shower room. The welcome treats were much appreciated and the lighting inside was good. Convenient for a rural one-night stay while working in the area.
