This place was absolutely amazing. I don’t know how anybody could give it less than a 10!!!! Especially the man that owns the place that walks you to your room and gives you an overview of the place and restaurant recommendations and he’s there for you if you need anything he’s such a special man!!!

It was wonderful from beginning to end! He met me at the port when my ferry arrived and helped me with my luggage to his accommodations, which were right near the port. Up high with BEAUTIFUL view of the port and Amorgos! The place is typically Greek with bright white buildings and bright blue shutters. Very clean, very comfortable bed and nice hot shower! He was so helpful with showing me where the bus stop is in town, the bus schedules, and anything else I needed. When I hand washed some clothes, he let me hang them out to dry on his line where he hung the bed sheets. Amorgos itself is so charming, quaint, and small - a refreshing change from my visit to Crete just before! Yet lots to do with a variety of terrain to enjoy! Then, he also helped me walk back to the port with my luggage upon my departure.

I could watch the sunset from the balcony. It has a beautiful pool area for lounging and it’s walking distance from Katapola. It’s like a little oasis in the Mediterranean mountains, away from the busyness of the port. The staff is super warm, friendly and welcoming.

The location is very convenient. The store is steps away yet the surrounding area is quiet. Parking is available.

This place is very cute and the owner is super sweet. He goes above and beyond to give you the best room available. It may not be the exact room you think you booked but it has a sea view, very affordable and perfect location.

Angela is a wonderful hostess, always available to your every need. The location is terrific. Beautiful sunset views from our front porch. We sat a bit back from the road but we're so close to the action. Small walking distance to the ferry port, a beach, amazing restaurants and grocery stores. Parking right at the entrance of the room. We had many cat and chicken friends visiting daily. We highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very functional. Large shower. Perfect for a couple.

This is my second time in Amorgos. The island is heavenly and owners of the hotel Ionna and Stamatis are the best hosts ever. Their hospitality, kindness and love for Amorgos make the difference. My room was big enough, very clean, good a/c, good view and very quiet which is so important to me cause I have hard time sleeping sometimes. Over all Landeris is the home away from home for me.

Great location! Easy walk to the port and many restaurants for breakfasts and dinners. Bakery literally steps away too. Giannis recommended a restaurant in the traditional mountain village of Lagada for lunch. Ate there one day, great food, idyllic location in the village, really nice lady. Giannis recommended two restaurants in southern Amorgos for lunch. Ate at one the day I explored southern Amorgos. Wonderful family run place where literally everything on the menu is homegrown. Giannis is a peach of a guy always ready to help.

Location and staff. Very close to the port and the boats for Maltezi beach. Ioanna, the owner, was the absolute highlight, embodying the true sense of Greek hospitality: always with a smile offering all the tips and services a first-time visitor needs to enjoy the island to the fullest: where to go swimming and how to get there with public transport, when the best time is to visit the monastery, where to eat or buy local products, to name a few. And going the extra mile every single time: finding the best possible way for me to enjoy my last swim worry-free <3, helping me with my luggage, using her network to respond to my every request, introducing me to Maria, the sweet cantine-owner of Maltezi beach with the big heart and the amazing sense of humor! <3 In a nutshel, it felt like staying with family and friends. I fell in love with Amorgos and its people. Thank you for making my short vacation an unforgetable one! And looking forward to visiting with you again and again...

My room was clean, modern, spacious and comfortable with 2 lovely balconies with wonderful views. The bed was really comfortable and a step up in comfort from most Greek mattresses. The garden is lovely and the location is great- just 2 min walk to shops and restaurants and the bus stop, but very quiet. AC and hot water worked very well.

The lovely sunset balcony views, the location to restaurants and the bus stop, and the ability to swim just down the steps. The herd of goats on the hillside above the property adds to the charm.

Everything was exceptional (indoors and outdoors). Clean and comfortable room in a perfect location (walking distance from all spots at Katapola). The host is great, super friendly and helpful. Totally recommended.
