United StatesPerfect central location for anyone looking for a stay in the town of loughrea or the surrounding area, it’s walkable to all of the restaurants and shops in town. The host, Dolores is a trustworthy, wonderful human being who just so happens to host this rental! She made me welcome throughout my stay and offered many ideas for local attractions and places to eat.
The facilities are all spotless clean and it’s a much more home like feeling than staying in a hotel. The price of the stay was very reasonable and worth every penny. I’m looking forward to my next stay at the bearstone House when time allows me to get back to Ireland!

United StatesIt was so fun staying in the yurt. Really spacious inside and with a lovely deck around it with furniture for relaxing in the sun or shade. Enjoyed the story the host left on how they came to build this special place for others to stay in. We were amazed at how much room there is inside and how well it was set up for comfort. It was well equipped for cooking a meal or just relaxing in the living room playing a game or watching TV. It is really a great place to stay.

The room was separate from the homestead, so it offered such a lovely, private abide. Very quiet and pleasant. We slept great!!! Everything about it was comfortable and simple. Loved it!

United StatesWish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

Location was excellent right on the lough, secure parking next to Garda station, everything you could need for your stay, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, toaster, microwave loads of hot water, nice quiet spot, Ursula was very welcoming gave us directions for a cycle, spotlessly clean

Bearstone House is in the centre of Loughrea. We stayed here the night of a wedding. A few minutes drive to Loughrea Hotel and Spa. The BnB is walking distance to the main street in town. There is no breakfast included. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was very friendly and laid back. There is free parking. We enjoyed our stay here.

Location was only 25 minutes drive from Galway city.
It was by far the best value in the greater Galway area for a business overnight on my own. It had ample free parking.
Clement was very friendly and efficient on check in.
There was a very inviting open fire in the bar, lovely on a wet and chilly night.
Great bar menu selection. Fast and friendly service from Mary and good value for money. Room was very large with a comfortable double bed and everything needed for an overnight.
Will definitely stay here again.
