Fantastic view of the mountains with horses roaming in the background, great bed for firmness, quality pillows, the ability to vary the warmth of the bed, and well equipped shared amenities and a very good bathroom arrangement.

My stay at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm was an absolute treasure, largely due to the exceptional host, Magnus. The highlight of my time there was undoubtedly Magnus's hot tub, which offered a stunning view of a waterfall. The juxtaposition of the warm water against the backdrop of nature's beauty created an experience that was both relaxing and invigorating. Another standout feature of the farm was the bar overseen by Magnus himself. It was here that I had the pleasure of interacting with Magnus's family, sharing stories and laughter. The welcoming atmosphere prompted Magnus to pick up his guitar, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The camaraderie and music turned the night into a truly memorable experience. Participating in the Viking Thunder Clap with Magnus's father and the rest of the family was one of the most remarkable moments of my stay. This cultural connection added a layer of authenticity that made me feel like a part of the Icelandic tradition, creating a unique bond that transcended language and nationality. In the grand tapestry of our unforgettable experience at Stóra-Ásgeirsá Horse Farm, my daughter's horse riding adventure added a vibrant and colorful thread. It’s like a school with residence and apartments. It had a swimming pool and a hot tub. The apartment was lovely and spacious with an entrance near it. The two bedrooms were nice and the beds cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped and it had a big tv screen.
