The location was absolutely amazing — surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, the views were truly mesmerizing. There were plenty of showers, a huge and well-equipped kitchen, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Guesthouse Carina was a delightful guesthouse with nice location in Vík. The accommodation was clean, well organised, cosy and welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a breathtaking view on the mountains.
There was also a free parking (that's still practical) and you can also find a lot of restaurants /pub not too far.

Large modern room.
Friendly staff in bar and helpful staff in reception.
Good hot water in large shower; heated floor in bathroom.
Comfortable bed with good pillows and doonas.
Our room had a view over the car park to the coast.
Opening window allowed the room to be cooled (no sandflies).
Two good size armchairs in room and good size TV (although not a smart TV).
Plenty of outside car parking right next to the hotel.
Quiet - one street back from the main road.

The hotel is near to Dyrholaey and Vik. The buffet breakfast is delicious with variety. There are many parking lots available. The room is spacious too.

Breakfast is amazing. Buffet with several fresh items, including even fish, pancakes, local food, smoothie, etc.
The room is good size, very standard, but enough comfort for a good stay.
Free parking.
Ladies at the front desk are very supportive and friendly.

Room was big and spacious, same as in the photos. The hotel was huge and there are a few blocks and huge lobby area, which I'm assuming area for tourist groups. We came early and had a slot for parking. By evening the parking lot was full. Breakfast was a huge hall and decent breakfast spread. For those driving, it is up the hill. Amazing views from up there. It is a short drive to Dyrholaey viewpoint (a must go) and the black sand beach. They use a physical key system for the rooms.

The rooms were very clean, with comfy beds and a in Room heater. We were greeted nicely and check in was smooth and efficient. The included breakfast was lovely, as was the coffee and tea. There was a kitchen available for our use, as well. There was a restaurant within walking distance and a little crepe stand in the parking lot with savory and sweet crepes. At night, it was quiet and we slept well.

This is a fantastic roomy appartment and a great place to come back to after a long day out. The place is not only clean - it is spotless (I am very picky when it comes to cleaniness and this place delivers!!) - and it is very well-equipped as well so you just need to move in and start living. The car parking is right outside of the appartment so it is very xonvenient. A supermarket is 2mins away. Highly recommended.
