Really beautiful area, authentic farm house, cute/friendly animals and highly knowledgeable and accommodating hosts. They gave us tips on local hikes to do and were easy to talk with. It is evident they are quite enthusiastic about the work they're doing. It was interesting to see how farming in the area functions.

Very nice play. Good views of the region. Sea and volcano. 🌋 Good rooms and lovely swimming pool. Ask for local dinner. Quality of food and receipts are delicious. Wines as well. 🍷 I regret to have dinner just last day and spent time and money in restaurants around (where most of people was almost rude and food not special at all) Thxs to hosts Patrizia e Antonio (and his good chef wife) for their kind and congeniality.

A beautiful agriturismo surrounded by trees right on the border of Parco dell'Etna. Well kept swimming pool area, ample parking, very good breakfast. Room was large, spotlessly clean and with very good wifi. The owner who runs the place is a very kind and helpful lady, helped by her children. Two amazingly cute goats complete the scenery!

The property was in a very rustic building which was a winemaking facility in the early 1800’s! Some rooms had the wine press in it. Great location close to the Etna. Nino was a very kind and welcoming host and we had fantastic local food cooked every evening by his wife. It was wonderful and delicious.

The spirit of an Italian village with both Etna and sea view is indescribable - you should feel it personally. Unbelievable hospitality of old senior Gaetano, which at every minute was joking with us and was so helpful! And imagine, a deep night (2 a.m) leaving house and even so late he prepared for us a kettle of coffee ☕! We had flight ✈️ at 6 am, but Mr.Gaetano came personally to the gate to hug us, shake hands and say farewell..

We loved staying in Casa Maria, it was so authentic and the owner family are super kind, lovely and so easy going - it was a true pleasure meeting them. The terrace is fantastic, it offers incredible views over the coast and the mountains - a real gem. The house is spacious, has a lot of rooms, there is also another small balcony from the bedroom looking onto a quiet street. The kitchen has all you need and the bathroom is newly refurbished - it's a pleasure to use it compared to some other experiences we had. There was no ac, but it's easy to keep the house cool by using the window shades and making a draft between the rooms, there is also a fan. Parking is available on a nearby street. This small town is full of character and local people are so friendly. The house is located near a local church and you can often hear the church bells ringing. We had a fantastic time in Casa Maria.

Everything was excellent. All kinds of food was waiting for us on arrival in case we missed anything. Very fast internet connection. Nice outside patio with a table and sun cover. And the value for money was unquestionable.

The house has a Sicilian charm, it is quiet and met all our expectations. The view over Etna from the pool is really great.

Casa Leopina was our mountain side retreat for relaxing. Located on Mt. Etna, just a few towns from the trek to the summit, it had everything we needed to just stay local from a week plus of traveling through Sicily. The 180 panoramic view included the local town with church directly below us, Catania and the Mediterranean ahead and around us, with the peak of Mt. Etna toward the south. At night the city lights glimmered. At sunrise, the sky was awash in pinks and purples. We enjoyed our breakfast under a pergola of ripe grapes, and dined on persimmon and lemonade from fruit fresh from the garden, not to mention aromatics: rosemary, basil, sage. We worked out our weary legs and residual cares in the hot tub and enjoyed jaunts into the town for the best hazelnut pastries and got to know the butcher and Sunday vegetable lady using our minimal (mainly hand gestures) Italian. Andrea was an attentive host. We’re definitely returning!
