United StatesAlthough not in the heart of one of the 5 Cinque Terre towns, transport via a small bus to Manarola is easy, and the location and view are great. Apartment was clean and well furnished. Our 4- night stay was marred by overcast conditions and rain, until our last day when the sun shone through. With the help of the train service we were able to visit all 5 villages in a day.

Nearby restaurants and bars . Self check in was a breeze and detail instructions on how to access the room were excellent. Room was renovated , everything very modern.

ItalyThe staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer.
Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Very kind owner. Nice view. Very clean appartment. Free parking in the garage. There is a bus stop for Manarola across the street or you can take a walking path for about 30-40 minutes.

Perfect location, free parking at hand.
House Al Geko is very comfortable and the balcony has a nice view of the mountain and the sea.
The property is equipped with everything you need for a short as well as a long stay.

Georgious view to Manarola and Corniglia. Hotel is on the hiking trail in between those cinque terre cities. Wonderful terrace. Car parking available.
Top service by the owners. Any wish gets fulfilled. Perfect breakfast.

Location is good as you have free parking at the hotel and a short drive to the nearest public carpark at Manarola. Highly recommended for visitors with self drive. The rooms are very clean and neat. Great and friendly owner who prepared a great breakfast for us with yummy croissants, juices, yoghurt, hams and a wide variety of eggs such as scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs upon ordered.

We like everything. The family who own this place are such a lovely couple, they know english and french very well. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Free wifi and free parking. Confy and big room, hot water.
