The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The sento was really nice and a pleasant surprise. We opted for the breakfast (a set) and it was excellent - very good quality, filling, and the restaurant staff were kind and friendly. With the location and cost, this was an excellent value.

Everything was 5 star. Can't believe it wasn't a five star hotel. Did not try breakfast tho.

Price, Location, and Facilities.

The location of Solaria is impeccable. With many restaurant choices just down the hotel and very centrally located with magnificent view for さくらじま. Our room at 14F floor also gets this wonderful view. Room is spacious, clean, and modern. Solaria has 3 parking sites that they co-operated with. We parked in the one that's just next to the hotel building.

Perfect for an overnight stay - conveniently located next to JR Chuo station. The breakfast was very good, though it can get busy if you are there at the buffet opening time. We were given a spacious room and the bed was very comfortable. Amenities were plentiful. Check-in and check-out by automated machine was easy.

Excellent location right next to the train station. Very clean rooms and lovely staff. Perfect for a stay in Kagoshima. Very comfortable beds.

Good size room helpful staff good price

I stayed here for a night while waiting for my new apartment to be ready. The location is super close to the station and restaurants, etc. It's very convenient. The staff were so nice!! I felt very welcomed. The room was nice, big bed, big bath. I could even watch Netflix on the TV. Overall I recommend this hotel if you're stopping by Kagoshima city.

They had very comfortable beds! The room was spacious. The dark wood furnishings gave it a classic vibe and it was very cozy.

Staying at this traditional Japanese ryokan for six nights was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel serves set breakfasts with a variety of small dishes, which I believe is a typical Japanese-style breakfast offered at many hotels. Each morning, you can choose from four different sets. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Kagoshima’s shopping district and city center. There are hundreds of restaurants and shops of all sizes nearby. It’s also easy to reach the main train station by taxi or public transportation. Additionally, several museums and Terukuni Shrine are within walking distance. If you’re looking to experience a traditional Japanese ryokan, we highly recommend this one.

The building was older but our room was clean. The staff were excellent. Nice to have parking at the hotel. Overall the hotel was in a great location and a good value.

Biggest apartment we've ever seen in Japan. The living room has a huge amount of floor space. The kitchen is luxurious with real chef knives.

We really enjoy our stay here. The location is very central and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
