We've come here three times and it's always amazing. Such a cute town and the host is so so nice! Cute cafe for the morning, nice restaurants that Rie will book for you and a realrural japanese town. Perfect.

Everything was good quality… down to the tea towels. The old store room was well converted with double glazed windows and thoughtful features. The communication with the owner was excellent. We were a little late arriving but the owner met us to show us around. We loved sitting outside looking at the night sky and stars in the evening. The shower was fabulous and the beds were comfy and warm.

The view from our balcony was amazing!! The cabin was comfortable and much cleaner/better than many other cabins we have stayed in. Just right.

This was pure luxury! The rooms were incredible, the private onsen was a dream, the food was delicious and novel every night, the staff were extremely responsive and accommodating. All of the facilities are well kept and the public onsen was beautiful. Honestly this is the height of luxury in Aso, I would stay again in a heartbeat!
