Hotels with Parking in Kokonoe

No words to describe this AMAZING gem!! I found this place when considering rerouting from Aso to a different area, and it was such a great decision!! The suite is huge, beautifully decorated, with high ceilings, a balcony, amazing view to the beautiful fields and mountains, and the most amazing and spacious private onsen I could ever dream of!! It's pretty secluded which feels very private and romantic but also means you gotta rent a car to get there, and need to drive a relatively long distance to get anywhere (at least 10 min drive to the closest store/restaurant), so it's advised to book meals along with the room, or do your shopping in advance. The staff deliver daily sweets and a few complimentary drinks along with fresh amenities to your room, which was very nice :) It was the perfect place to unwind and relax, chill in the beautiful bath and just enjoy the serine view. I loved every second of it, and if I ever visit the area again I will definitely go back there!

Onsen in every room is great! The actual public baths are really nice too! Staff is very friendly and attentive!

It’s isolation and location

Kuju Kogen cottage is an onsen resort in the middle of the Kuju mountain range. On the day of check-in, the staff was very kind in allowing us to change the room to a Japanese style tatami room (they had initially given us a western style room). Booking a private hot spring bath room for me and my girlfriend was easy too (50 minutes, with an additional charge). Access to public male and female onsen rooms is included in the room charge. I loved the dinner selection, both the Yakiniku and the Japanese style option. While speaking a little japanese makes things easier, the staff can handle English speaking visitors fairly well. The views from the resort are simply stunning and I feel lucky to have been there.

This truly is a gem. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you need. The staff were so thorough to ensure my stay was comfortable. The outdoor bath is one of the best I've experienced in Japan. It's in a beautiful Part of the country and we'll worth a stay. I didn't want to leave

Great location near Chojibaru visitor information and trailheads from Tadewara wetlands and not far from Makinoto pass recommend stay 2 nights to do high and low hike. Room was lovely, western style room. Bath was great. Meals beautiful.

The staff are nice and warm, even we can’t speak Japaneses, but we still can use our way to communicate.

The best parts of this stay were the staff and the accommodations. The staff was so kind and helpful They took care of us every morning for breakfast, cleaned our room thoroughly, and helped us whenever we needed it. The accommodations were spectacular and went above and beyond our expectations. The room was huge and the private onsen was luxurious.
