Hotels with Parking in Minamioguni

The room was lovely, with tatami mats and sliding doors. It was a bit run down, but that didn’t affect my experience at all. In addition to the hotel’s own onsen, you can visit the one right across the street—and they are amazing. Truly the best experience I had during my trip.

This is my go to cottage every winter season! near the kuju skiing grounds and it has a "home" feel to it! 10/10 I can't wait to come back next year!

While there were no staff on-site, access to the room was easily accessed by a digital concierge. The lodging facility was very clean, roomy, and included appliances and amenities. The location was quiet and I felt very safe staying alone - very well-lit parking and office areas. I did not use the onsen but it looked amazing and was included in the price for the night which was also amazing.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!

Absolutely great house in the forest! Everything was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. A little far from town but if you have a car it is perfect. Our unit (C) had two stories with a wrap-around walkway on each level and private sauna. Super peaceful surrounding, you can hear the deer in the forest at night. Just avoid the western route into town since it is very narrow for a vehicle (we had a Fit) and there is a sheer drop right off the side of the road 😬 very exciting.

This is a wonderfully warm and cozy place to stay. The owners are exceptionally kind, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely amazing—one of the highlights of my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience. A true must-visit!

The host is very kind, he took time to show me around the town and various points of interest. He was very helpful and even graciously gifted me some sweets. In addition the accommodation has everything you need, including a small kitchen and washing machine. The terrace is especially delightful just next to the river. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come again.

Authenticity and charm. Private and hill top Onsen were amazing!

Loved the simple clean lines of the spacious rooms, the comfortable beds and the delicious dinner. Having a private onsen in the room was a special treat but the main onsen was also lovely.

The room is spacious. The amenities are adequate. The staffs are friendly and helpful also can speak English.

Exceptional meals, comfortable futons, and 5 different on-site onsens. Incredible value for money.

It was a fantastic onsen hotel that exceeded our expectations. The Irori room with sake was great and we were able to meet a lot of other guests. Stargazing was amazing as well!

It’s isolation and location

The food was exceptional. My son really enjoyed every dish. Private bath was very nice. It's half open air with dry area to get change. Dryer and amenities are provided, very convenient. Around the area was very nice and shady. It feels cool even in the mid of summer.
