I recently stayed at a traditional Japanese house and had an exceptional experience. That property is cozy and clean. There’s a parking space so we could park our car easily. It’s located about 18 mins away from the train station, so even if we didn’t have a car, it’s still convenient.

Hotel is in a really gorgeous area. Our room overlooked the beach so the view was perfect. We visited here during the winter, but enjoying the balcony during the warmer months seems like it would be a real treat.

The indoor and outdoor onsen are very nice. Great view of the city at night It’s a real reminder of Showa era Japan, and how rundown things can get with a bad economy for 30 years.
