The property was so cozy I felt right at home! They were so welcoming and I felt so comfortable while I was there! They made my experience so stress free I couldn’t be more thankful. The traditional style room was so pretty and cute I loved it so much I wish I could have stayed longer :( the location was also perfect and super convenient for exploring Otaru!

Very modern for Japan and lots of space. Incredible view over the bay and area to sit out. Rare in Japan. Nice little beach. Restaurant first class and worthy of a Michelin star in my opinion. Excellent service and staff who Spk a bit of English and try their hardest to help in any way. If you are going to Hokideo this is a fabulous base. Ps you need a car though ! I never leave reviews but this place is special. 12 out of 10 👌👍

NOTHING! We were unable to check-in. When we tried to get in contact with them it took almost an hour. They gave us a code for the box to the emergency keys but it didn’t work! They said they’d get back to us for next steps but there was none. We ended up paying and losing our money and didn’t stay there.

The two storey property was very well designed, very comfortable, spacious, clean, new and very well-maintained with clear instructions. Location is within walking distance to city and a lot of eating places. Advanced face recognition check in, staff was responsive even when we checked in late. Also has free Netflix.

The host is so helpful and kind and the location is fantastic. There is so much attention to detail including area rugs, beer mugs in the freezer, great toilet paper and paper towels, and lots of info on the area with maps and QR codes.

This is a great little place in a residential area, very well located to the main tourist strip in Otaru. There's a shared kitchen that I didn't use but looked well equipt. Room had a private bathroom. Very quiet. Parking spot is narrow, but typical for Japan. If you have a large vehicle, there is overnight paid parking nearby.
