This hotel really surpassed my expectations! Every member of staff was so polite and friendly and most even knew my name and room number. Dinner and breakfast was from a set menu, unlike the buffet meals I had experienced at other hotels. The food was unbelievable (especially the beef tenderloin) and was a beautiful candlelit meal by the sea. I arrived late, after lunch had been served, and there was no food but the chefs were so kind enough to make something just for me The infinity pool overlooking the beach was beautiful and the beach is more private and quieter here making it my preference over the nearby flic en flac beach. A fantastic experience, would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday by the sea! Thank you to all here for making my stay so memorable

Krishna, the manager and his teams went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Both of my companions are disabled, the team went out of their way to help us by wheeling them everywhere they desire . The food is excellent with exotic variety. Services are top-notch.

The location was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. Thank you Cody for the great hospitality. We recommend Le Gite du Bonheur and if we come to Mauritius, we will be back!

These were the best three nights of our stay in Mauritius. The backyard opens directly onto an incredible snorkeling spot, making it perfect for exploring the marine life. The host provided prompt, accurate, and helpful information throughout our stay. The environment, cleanliness, and location were all outstanding. Overall, this was the best guesthouse experience of our entire trip, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. The breathtaking ocean-view sunsets were the highlight of our stay.

The property is well located and very close to the Tamarin Public beach. However it might be very noisy during the weekends. The host is very helpful and very responsive

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful new property in Tamarin! Everything was perfect — the huge tropical garden, the pool, the barbecue area, and that breathtaking sea view. We couldn’t stop admiring it! The apartment was spotless, comfy, and full of charm. You can feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. Johanna and Aurelie were the best hosts, always helpful with tips that made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming of coming back — thank you so much!

The apartment was very spacious & has a lovely terrace with views of sea & catches the evening sun. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay & we loved the outdoor kitchen & seating area by the pool. We cooked & ate there on a couple of nights. Aurelie was very friendly & attentive - giving advice & checking in on us.
