A lovely building from the 1700s, built by Miguel Hidalgo, a leader in the Independence wars against Spain. Beautiful grounds and gardens surrounding the hotel, and a clean fresh spring flows through the property. There is a restaurant that serves breakfasts and traditional mexican food in the afternoon. Our host, Cristian was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay wasn't only pleasant but comfortable and fun. He offered to take us to "Los Azufres" which are the natural hot springs and also took us to the airport for a fair price. We highly recommend staying at Pura Vida Cuidad Hidalgo on your next trip!
