United StatesThe home is situated on a beautiful view hillside surrounded by grapevines. We were there for 3 nights. It is a family run agrotourismo, and they could not have been more welcoming. The house itself was spotlessly clean. Jorge welcomed us and showed us the property. We had the whole house to ourselves, with a complete kitchen. We decided to have our dinners at the Quinta, which was a good choice as the roads are curvy for our American driving style. We brought our own charcuterie one night, and another night we were able to have our dinner prepared by the Quinta owners. It was a delicious Portuguese meal from appetizers through fish and vegetables, steak and potatoes, desserts and wine. Amazing. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking the 2 mile rural lane with views all around.
This is a special place, and we thank the family for sharing it with us!

Beautiful house, good quality rooms..very comfy beds. Secure parking for our 5 motorbikes. Close to everything. Cracking roads to and from the town. 5 of us spent 2 nights there on our tour of portugal.

Efficient and friendly staff. Splendid views, lovely gardens well tended. Good free parking. Bedroom: excellent bed, good bathroom. Good and varied breakfast included. Hotel keeps improving the installations, as a very old palace is always difficult to change in a instant.

The property is excellent. It is on the ground floor, so you do not need to carry suitcases up stairs. The host was very prompt in communicating with us and sent someone to fix a clogged drain in the bathroom. A public parking lot is about 10 minutes from the apartment as is the main town square.

Great location in the centre of town, free underground parking, superb staff (except for the man who greeted us at the door who was not very welcoming) decent view from rear of hotel.

A good stay in a very clean property. The hotel is definitely in need of updating but it was exceptionally clean and comfortable and perfect for passing through for the night. Free parking onsite. Close location to local restaurants and shops. The included breakfast was great, with many options. Although we didn’t use the facilities, the pool area and gym looked great. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.
