On the river, beautiful! Grounds very well kept. Peaceful with the sound of running water, not often found. Aon (owner) was amazing. Went over and above to assist us where possible. Due to our circumstances we had to change rooms and the black river room was perfect. Bed, pillows, sheets, shower, bathroom, size of room really great. The River is opposite taxi stand so really convenient The breakfast was a combination of western eggs and salad, croissants and the thai rice porridge. Yumbolio. We enjoyed the dinner which was more than ample. All the staff very attentive. Thank you everyone at The River. Highly recommend.

Certainly one of the best hotels I ever went to (and I have seen many). Beautiful designed rooms, fantastic hotel areal and very attentive staff which fulfilled every wish we had. They should get a raise.
