Everything. Decor was modern, sparse, semi-industrial. Far nicer than the tacky, gaudy decorations in most Taiwanese BnBs. Female host was very nice and is able to communicate in English. Room had good insulation (a rarity in Taiwan) and stayed warm on a fairly cool night. The bed was not too firm and not too soft. The bed had ergonomic pillows (not memory foam, but still better than the huge, hard pillows most BnBs in Taiwan use). Breakfast was amazing and artfully prepared. Local coffee, too! Both hosts take their jobs seriously, have a great aesthetic sense, and you can tell that they value providing a quality experience more than just making money. I don't know if I'll ever be by that way again, but if I am, I'll be staying here.

I have stayed here twice now, the first was several years previous to now (2025). In both cases, I enjoyed my stay at this guest house and can say that it is clean and quiet and also tastefully decorated. It is located outside of the much busier village of Taimali, but not too far that you can’t scooter drive into the village to go to 711 or family Mart or local restaurant. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Everything was clean and comfortable, bedding is warm even in the winter. I was the only one in my dorm room. The owners were friendly and helpful, responsive when texting, and let me leave my bag when I arrived early before check-in. A short walk from the train station and easy to find. Cool place, I'd stay here again.

The facility is in good condition. Ventilated air goes throughout the building. Staying with the host is a real guesthouse.

The accommodation is very clean and quiet. The host couple are very friendly and helpful. The in-house hot spring is a plus with minimum additional fee.

This was my only home stay on my bicycle ride to circumnavigate the island and it stands out as a great experience. It's clean and a real pleasure to stay in a well-kept home with warm family members and pets all around. I only wish I arrived early enough (5:30 I think) to buy into their dinner. I am really grateful for their hospitality.
