Both my husband & I thought the bed was very comfortable. We have stayed at other hotels in the last 6 months and the beds were hard as a rock! My husband loved the pillows also!! Wants me to find pillows like those!!

This is the perfect little getaway spot 😍. The hotel is so clean, the staff is extremely nice n helpful. Beds are comfortable. Right in town conveniently next store to a restaurant and close to Weiss supermarket in walking distance. I use this hotel quite often, and I would recommend it to anyone

The property was very spacious & even bigger in person than imagined from seeing the pictures! It very comfortably fit me & my friends. Very clean & nice as well! The next door neighbor actually helped us with parking, which was very nice. The restaurant/bar Mickey Gannon’s right down the sweet is great as all well which is a nice plus! Very close to downtown as well. The host was super nice/responsive as well. Great experience overall!

Went to Carbondale to visit a friend. We were going to stay in Scranton, my friend suggested the Anthracite Hotel, being only a mile from his place. This is an outstanding boutique hotel in a small small town. You will be pleasantly surprised. Entire facility was spotless. Room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Parking in the rear was. Wry convenient. We will return

As we arrived to find the street closed for a festival -we called and the front desk attendant patiently guided us in to the hotel parking lot. We checked in late from traveling and needed nutriment - once again Kierie? (Front Desk) kindly helped us place a to-go order from the restaurant ensuring we had food. Once again very accommodating! Kudos! Breakfast next morning was great prior to our departure.
