Nice location. Well equipped cottage.

It's in a walking distance from Brienz station, breakfast is covered and is a buffet, it's managed by one of the best people i have come across. Being a hostel you pay way lesser and it's good to see some rules that exist so everyone can co exist.

It was GORGEOUS! The beds out of this world. So spacious. It’s part of an apartment building. The Strandbad across the street is excellent! Literally across the street. The dinner is great and the facilities too (do see if you can make reservations, was almost turned away on a Friday night at 7:30 because it got fully booked). From here we did the geissenbach falls by ferry, Lauterbrunnen by train and the Aare Gorge each as day trips. Best day was renting paddle board and beach chair at the Strandbad for a day. Could have brought my own snacks but I opted to by a bratwurst and ice cream from the kiosk on the grounds.

The apartment was amazing, very modern, and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. The location is very central for visiting the tourist areas and walking distance to Lake Brienz shore, marina, and train. Very sound proof, we didn't hear any road noise or neighbors. We found the kitchen appliances and the layout very convenient for self-catering. We appreciated having a designated parking spot in front of the apartment and a washer and dryer inside the unit. The owners thought of every little detail one could need while on vacation and provided it. We loved everything about this apartment and would highly recommend it.

Owner of the apartment Martin is great person. He met us personally even we arrived too late. Very great apartment in fantastic location. I will come again for sure.

We loved the location, the house being directly on the lake and all the amenities the house offered.

The location of Hotel Brienz was perfect. The scenery was amazing and it was easy to get around in the town and on the lake from the hotel. There was also parking available, which was very easy.

Great location in Brienz near the lake. Beautiful mountain views. The place was relaxing and had all that we needed to make our own food. Place was clean and bed was comfortable. Daniella was a very nice and kind host.

It is a minute walk to Lake Brienz. Not crowded. Got a feel of staying in a century old (but completely renovated to have modern amenities) chalet. Very authentic Swiss experience by the lake.

I like very much the treatment from the staff, who are amazing persons. The view from any place at the hotel is awesome, is clean, quiet and it has a good familiar atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back, I even extended my stay!

It was peaceful and beautiful.

Much more space than expected. Confortable rooms for parents and for children.
