Excursions, location, staff, restaurant

The 3 days and 2 nights spent here and around were the highlights of our trip. We have been welcome superkindly at the reception, finding out we acquired the villa. Which is just awesome: 2 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, full kitchen, stylish bathroom, huge living room area - and a patio with a jaw-dropping garden view. There's even a small rainforest attached to the property, with a clear path all along, we had a fantastic 1-hour morning tour over there, what a way to start your day. The property is outside the crowded and loud La Fortuna city area, it's perfect for a silent getaway and chillout in the garden before heading to the popular attractions of the area. The breakfast was immensely good, all sorts of food, such as fresh (and sweet) fruits, yoghurts and granolas, meat and cheese, and the BEST gallo pinto we tasted in Costa Rica. Juice, coffee, hot and chilled water have been provided as well.

We loved this quiet simple place with its gardens, volcano view and fabulous bird viewing. Close to waterfall and a few minutes from la fortuna . So quiet and restful!

The hotel is quiet and very clean! It felt very safe. The owner is amazing and very easy to talk too. We would stay here again!

The hotel is really nice; you can see the Volcano closer. The facilities are in good conditions everything works, nice internet service. Breakfast was good and the staff are spectacular. You can hear all nature sounds.

Beautiful property, location and views. Breakfast is fresh and nice. Hot springs, mud bath was unique experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Exceptional Stay at Jungla Resort & Spa Our stay at Jungla Resort & Spa in La Fortuna was absolutely wonderful. The resort itself is stunning, and the accommodations were immaculate—spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Our unit had an upstairs and downstairs layout with three beds plus a pull-out couch, which was more than accommodating for our group. Even the details stood out, like the heated toilet with a bidet—such a nice touch! The customer service was truly top-notch. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the staff surprised us with complimentary cheesecake and chocolate cake (both amazing!) and even sang Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful and memorable moment. Communication with staff was handled through WhatsApp, which worked perfectly. Responses were almost immediate, and someone even came directly to our room to explain the property and amenities in more detail. The bungalows are separate, beautifully designed, and very private. The grounds and landscaping were immaculate and clearly well cared for. The restaurant was excellent—great food, great service. Towels, condiments, and anything else we needed were readily available. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay, which was a big plus. The only downside is the road leading to the resort. After turning off the main road, the drive up and down through the mountains is quite bumpy, and it can be difficult to see at night. However, once you arrive, it is 100% worth it. Overall, we had zero complaints about the property. It was an amazing stay, and if we ever return to La Fortuna, we would absolutely stay at Jungla Resort & Spa again. Highly recommend!

The staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful with anything you need. It's definitely worth staying at this hotel.
