I needed a check in after reception closed and I received a e-mail on the day, as promised, with the key box code and hotel information. Very surprised to have a large bottle of water in the room, also 3 bottles of drinks in the room fridge including one local beer, all complimentary. There are also quite a lot of food and drink options available on trust in the lobby, including ice creams and beers. You put the money in the box. My room was very quiet. The hotel is very close to the sea front and extensive low tide sands. Breakfast is excellent, a lot of very lovely options for a healthy breakfast, beyond my expectations. For example a honey comb to spoon out of, I've never seen this in a hotel before. All in all I was very impressed with this place.

This hotel is quietly and conveniently located in Büsum, within walking distance of the town center and the newly built family lagoon with sandy beach. Hotel Astra Maris was newly opened in June 2015....
