Everything was great here. Check in was easy and we were a little late at night. Parking is at the back of the hotel and easy to find once explained at check in. Language is a little hard if you don't speak Deutsche, but they are very polite and you will get through. The staff are very helpful and patient, which is rear in Germany. The room was clean and tidy. Everything was comfortable. Breakfast was good, of course German style, and they even ask you how you would like your eggs cooked. Overall good experience and would stay again when pass through this way.

What a unique place to discover. Maybe not the most obvious area to visit, but there are actually many great hiking trails around Hitzacker. The place is very well taken care of, the host and check-in are amazing, the bed is comfortable, the home cinema is stunning, and as a bonus there’s a sound system with Radio Paradise. This church is truly one of a kind - we will be back.

Great location, lots of hiking trails + cute towns nearby :) We traveled with our dog and stayed in one of their +huts - our stay was comfortable and fun!
