Room was quite spacious and was compartimented so that the sleeping area was separate from the main entrance and bathroom area. Easy access to the inner garden. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quite unique with its wooden structure. The side walls of the sleeping quarters were made of piled logs.

Breakfasts are balanced and fresh.

I liked the all-inclusive, homelike quality of the Hote Garni Ammergauer Hof. Going into the restaurant for a meal or drinks was like walking downstairs and into the home of a family friend and the food was really satisfying.

The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place was simple but clean snd comfortable. I was travelling on my own, which can sometimes be daunting but I felt safe and at ease the whole time.

We enjoyed our stay in this super large and beautiful apartment. We loved the two balconies, where we enjoyed the view of the mountains. Kitchen is fully equipped, a nice dining area and comfortable living room. Two bedrooms and one large shower. The apartment was perfect for us a family of four plus our dog. Private parking in front of the building. The communication with the owner was brief but very attentive and friendly. We liked the area, central, close to other beautiful villages and nature. We will love to be back!

The place was so relaxing, calm , quite, with beautiful surroundings. From the balcony there is the view of mountains, clean road on front of the building and old beautiful houses around. The apartment is very clean, with everything you need. Big washroom with washing machine which we're able to wash our clothes and get dry in balcony. The kitchen is small but with complete equipments, we're able to cook our breakfast before we start the day and dinner when we got home.. the bed and sofa bed was comfy accomodating 3 adults 1 child. They have lot's of clean unused extra blankets and pillows. I suggest to have a electric fan to have air circulation during summer, though when balcony is open the place is windy and fresh. Garbage are well segregated.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was excellent — the place was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, always available and happy to help. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, all within walking distance. And the view from the window is simply incredible — it really made our stay even more special. We would happily come back again and definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the apartment . Comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Great little kitchen for cooking , but not far to walk to centre of town . The balcony offers fabulous views of the mountains and street is quite, out of the tourism bustle . Excellent and timely communication by host. Highly recommended as a stay in Obergammagau.

Accommodation is perfect for a family. So much of space. Everything is available in the kitchen for self cooking. Hassle free parking.

Alpenblick is aptly named with just the perfect view of the countryside and mountains from the deck. We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the parking spot. It is just a very short, picturesque walk into Oberammergau with something new to see and explore each day. The craftsmanship on display, artistry and setting of this Bavarian town are really something to behold. We took a very slow, winding drive one afternoon through the rolling hills, down quiet roads, passing small churches, friendly locals, farm animals crossing the road......an absolute highlight. Communication with the owner was great. Information about navigating Oberammergau was carefully laid out along with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine, plus cold beer in the fridge. Very thoughtful. We highly recommend Alpenblick.
