Super friendly staff-they had a scavenger hunt for kids to explore the hotel and win some treasures which made the day for our daughter. It was a beautiful area and a very nice little house that only looked little from the outside. It was bigger inside than I imagined. The shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The hosts even put fresh eggs from their own chickens on the table for us. We would stay here any time we are in the area.

Scandic Roskilde is located by Roskilde Ringen Park, just 5 minutes’ drive from central Roskilde. It offers Nordic-style rooms with French balconies and free Wi-Fi.

This hotel is centrally located; however, it was hard to find due to some road construction nearby. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and Cafés. We ate at one of the recommended restaurants and enjoyed a 10% discount. After dinner, we enjoyed a nice evening walk. There is plenty to see and do in Roskilde. The Viking Ships Museum was the highlight of our short visit. We were thankful for the room upgrade!

The hosts were very kind, the property was clean and images were true to what you expect. It is near Copenhagen so easy for a day trip and we really liked the forest behind the house including the petting zoo!
