Nice little cottage at the side of the gorge, close to the lake. Easy to reach the boating/kayaking attractions and the village of Moustier. The cottage has all what is needed.

Beautiful and unique property on the lower part of Moustiers Saint Marie. The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. We received a lot of great recommendations for restaurants. Rooms were perfect for what we needed. Clean, comfortable and everything you need. It felt like staying at a friend’s beautiful property. The walk up to Moustier isn’t bad at all. Parts are pebbles/stones so wear decent shoes (no heels). Took us about 15’ walking slowly and taking I. The views. Only the last 5 minutes is uphill to the village and very doable. I’m no athlete. Owner gave us a tip for a shortcut through the woods and over the river from his property which was nice. There is also a parking lot at the bottom of the small hill to the village of you prefer to drive. Very nice pool area with great views. You can buy wine or drinks from the bar area inside to enjoy by the pool or garden. Cozy seating areas all around. Lovely breakfast where you can also order an omelette/eggs in addition to what is automatically served at the table. Go kayak/rent a boat for the Verdon George nearby. Really beautiful and peaceful area.

It was towards the end of the season, so it was very quiet. We were driving, so having a place to park was very important. Our hostess greeted us warmly and had us checked in quickly.

The seclusion, the countryside authenticity, Camille and her father who tend to the area, Boulette the adorable dog, and the friendliness of everyone there.

It is not about the room size or luxury. The room is only a placeholder for your bed, bathroom and phone charger. The glad doors open your room into the outside patio which is the natural extension of the room and it is the patio where your surrender most of the time when not sleeping

Gorgeous property and a very kind and accommodating host. Baby cot and high chair were already set up when we got there which was much appreciated. Super convenient spot (especially with a car!) with the town just a short walk away. Thank you so much, would definitely stay again!

It is worth visiting this area just to stay at this place. The host was exceptionally kind, warm, and caring. We were a family of four. My parents stayed in a room with a kitchen, which allowed us to cook dinner, while my sister and I stayed in a different room. The house has a beautiful French style with a clean and modern touch. I highly recommend the breakfast. The host kindly invited us into her lovely home and prepared an amazing breakfast for us. It was the best breakfast I had during my trip. Staying at this place was one of the best experiences I had in France. I would love to visit again.
