The bed was just what i needed. Great view from my room. All clean and very friendly staff.

Updated room, excellent large bed. Not sure why it only gets a good. Maybe because the bar is retro and old, but I really like that. Great stay.

The town/village is beautiful, as is the whole region. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The room was large and well equipped. A very positive experience.

The owners are SO wonderful. They were communicative, thoughtful, and provided a delicious fresh breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and had great views of the town. It was also a great location and a short walk to everything we wanted to see/do.

The apartment was beautiful and the location was great.

Excellent location. I was there for 3 weeks so l appreciated the closet and dresser drawer space. Everything worked, I slept really well, it was clean and I would stay there again.

Nice and cool inside whilst the outside was 30°. Some cookies and snacks were left as a welcome gesture. The kitchen had a water leak so we couldn't use it at the time of our visit. The host however provided a seperate kitchen just on the other side of the yard so it wasn't a problem. There was a lot of food included in the breakfast. Bread, cakes, cookies, milk, juice,... We couldn't finish all of it. The host also left a nice pie in the fridge but sadly we had to leave it since we couldn't take it with us in our hot car on a 8 hour drive 🥲.

Our “home” was comfortable! Well supplied with all the necessities of home. Our friendly host greeted us with wine, cheese and a sweet treat. And it was spotless!!!

We especially were impressed how well-designed the apartment was so that it could accommodate all the amenities, even a good-sized fridg, a washing machine, a microwave and even a small standing air-cond unit. The cupboards including all the other furniture were well thought of and placed to provide space. And to top it all, the apartment was clean.

Frédérique made our stay exceptional in every way possible! We can’t wait to return to Folklore!

Chateau Sancerre was an outstanding property on op of a hill overlooking the Loire Valley!
