No 16 the Green is spotlessly clean and comes with all the basic necessities. It's got two bathrooms which is really convenient. The bread and butter / jam is certainly an added bonus.

Wow! Was NOT expecting this one!!! Booked last minute en route to the Highland Show. Slight issue on arrival as had had no signal on phone all day and hadn't received arrival instructions (they HAD been sent.... my ancient Apple i-phone just couldn't cope without full internet access!!) However , phoned hosts on arrival. They picked up straight away and were super lovely. The whole place was GORGEOUS. Sadly we were only there for one night but will absolutely book this one again as a Borders base. Great parking literally outside the entrance. Just be aware that there are quite a lot of stairs if you are travelling with little people or elderly parents. But otherwise fabulous location. Straight out of the door into Hawick and all its facilities. And try Adams Kitchen - just along the pavement - for a fab feed!!!

Everything about this hotel is superb. Two couples, stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding in Hawick. Very friendly and helpful owners with staff who take pride in their work. Lovely spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean with large very comfortable beds. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, very well presented by staff who were polite, attentive and very helpful. A credit to their employer. In my opinion, easily the best hotel I have stayed in in Hawick and we will definitely return.
