Excellent location. Beautifully renovated. Warm and inviting. Photos accurate. Communications with the owners faultless. Just check on parking details when you leave the car… instructions vary. Minus - no salt/ pepper, no teapot, coffee pot or tin opener I was there for a 4 day course. The recent comments about the bed are entirely accurate. It should be noted that it’s a 4’ wide bed and it squeaks whenever you move an inch. Literally! After the 3rd night we decamped to Premier Inn for a decent nights sleep.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! The location of the property was perfect — tucked away from the main road, it offered a peaceful escape from the noise and rush of the city. We really appreciated the tranquility and the chance to unwind surrounded by nature. As keen cooks, we were delighted to find the kitchen well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to prepare a lovely supper. One of our favourite memories was dining under the stars — truly magical. Katie and her mum have done a fantastic job creating such a warm, cosy, and welcoming space. It felt like a true home away from home, and we’d happily return in a heartbeat. Communication with Katie was smooth and easy — she was always quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat!

Lovely quiet location in typical Cotswolds town close to shops and many other delightful villages; beautiful gardens, and sights etc.

Compact but very nicely done. We felt comfortable and parking was easy access. Decent standard of cleanliness and comms really good.

Great little cottage in a fantastic Cotswolds village. Looks just like the photos. Plenty to see and do locally, loved the theater. A few great restaurants! Lots of visits to the Rollright Stones, even in the rain.

The location was perfect and the landscape and views from the garden are amazing. Was able to have a BBQ and relax in the garden. Inside the property is very well equipped.

Great location, in the heart of Chipping Norton but not in the village making for the perfect country feel!

We enjoyed our stay at Buttercup Cottage. The cottage is very well located with shops/restaurants being 5 minutes walk away. Cottage was spacious and very comfortable with beautiful exposed walls oozing lots of charm. Eve was very friendly and responsive host giving us lots of recommendations via message and manual. Added bonus of the cottage was the dedicated parking next to cottage with option to charge our electric car. Overall highly recommend and we look forward to staying again!
