Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Hartington

Lovely hotel in a nice little village. Rooms are a good size and decent size. Dinner was tasty with plenty of options.

The location was excellent. We are keen cyclists and the Tissington Trail was about 800 metres from the door. We also cycled the Manifold trail which started about 4 miles from the door. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Spotlessly clean and tidy. High quality furniture and fittings. Both bedrooms ensuite. Beautiful south facing aspect with fabulous view from the front of the property. Warm and cosy. Great walking country.

Amazing views , such a comfy bed

The highlights for us were the tranquility, the incredible views to wake up to (opening top stable door and sit in bed with a cup of tea looking at over the valley 👌) and the jacuzzi was fabulous after a long walk. Very friendly host too. We hope to visit again soon!

We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Really high-end fittings. Quality knives, crockery, and facilities. Very comfortable bed. Very well laid out for the available space. Able to get it very cost with the log burner on a very cold night. Little welcome extras, which are a lovely touch. Very attentive host.
