Perfect location for a bit of peace & quiet & stargazing. The Wagon is well-equipped so no need to bring anything. The buggy-ride around the farm was amazing and you won't meet a lovelier couple than Lisa & Sam! 10/10.

Working sheep and cattle farm in the heart of the Peak District. We live on site and are always available for questions about the local area or things to do. Please note some agility is required to climb up to the double bed. Guests have free off road parking for up to 2 cars. If you require more spaces then let us know and we can accommodate this. Guests have access to the field where The Wagon is located, as well as a small paddock that you have to walk through, quite often home to a few sheep. The walk from the parking area to The Wagon is appropriately 100m up a moderate incline. Walking boots/wellies are recommended during wet weather. Please note guests are not permitted to wander around the farm yard unattended due to health and safety as it is a working farm with livestock and machinery If you would like to have a look around the farm and animals please contact us and we can arrange this. If you wish to bring your own fire fit, please contact us. This is because during summer the grass around The Wagon becomes very dry and a fire risk. Fire pits must be kept well from The Wagon, at least 10 meters. No candles or naked flames in The Wagon. One well behaved dog is welcome but please bring bedding and blankets to cover our soft furnishings. Dog owners also need to be aware that the fields around The Wagon will have sheep in them
