Very warm welcome, , the pub felt like home from home , our small dog Thistle loved it , evening meal was superb, and I have to say having stayed in many places in our lives the breakfast was one other best ever , A big thanks to all the staff at the Horse and Jockey Tideswell , we will be back soon there

No 2 is charming in a wonderful location. Thank you to our Hosts, who were exceptional in being friendly and responsive to any query we had. Very comfortable and clean, with everything you could wish for. We loved the upstairs garden with its fabulous views and especially watching friendly cows in the meadow. Parking was fine during our stay, right outside no 2.

Due to its corner plot, the cottage has huge rooms - plenty of space for us all. The house was well equipped. Very clean. The location was excellent - very easy to walk to a number of cafes/pubs, and Tideswell is really central to get to other towns/walks. We would happily stay here again.

Great location in a charming small village. Modern inside and well appointed kitchen. Very clean. A good size for up to 4 people. Nice little back garden great for morning tea. The owners were so responsive and clearly wanted us to have a good experience. I really liked the extra touches like leaving us a cake, some milk for our tea, and a bottle of wine. They were very easy to get in touch with when we needed help with the washing machine. We were there for 3 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic location and spotlessly clean. Walking distance to some great pubs and coffee shop. Great communication from the owners. A great base for a winter walking holiday

It was a lovely little cottage and was so nice to have a living room, kitchen and washing machine. Kind that the hosts left cereal, cookies, tea, coffee and sugar. Nice little friendly village, great Pub (Red Lion), Post Office and shop next door and church. Easy to drive to other villages and towns and hiking! Fabulous

House was spacious and bright with great decor and very comfortable furnishings.

This property is in such a great location easy walking distance to all shops , pubs etc The cottage is lovely and has everything that we needed whilst staying there ! We loved having the log burner on after our long walks

Perfect, perfect. We know the house is old but it really didn't feel that way. We know someone actually lives there but it really didn't feel that way. Many of our bookings have the bare minimum in the kitchen for 4; we were thrilled to find many, many dishes and flatware. Host was also generous with towels, which we didn't need but it is just different from other stays where we only get a thin towel per person.
