Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Avgonyma

Everything was excelent. House has everything you need for a cozy stay. All the utensils and kitchenware you need. Towels and bed linnens are replaced every 3 days. Beds are very confortable. Internet was a little dodgy, sometimes it worked and sometimes it had issues but it gave us a lot more "us" time. Kostas is a great host, came trough with everything we asked and needed. Avgonima is a small village but we enjoyed it every evening by just walking around it. We parked our car in town square near the house. We used this as a base to visit beaches on the eastern shore. There is no market in the village so come prepared so you dont need to go to town and back up hill again.

Quaint village, easily accessible to all parts of the island, friendly and responsive (and flexible) host and guests, cozy apartment, fully furnished, comfy beds, everything was special.

Extremely lovely host , very helpful and enthusiastic to give info about Chios! Very nice traditional stone house, very close to sunset point of the island and nice village taverns nearby! if you have a car with you in Chios , you should stay at that house!

The location is in the village, 3 minutes by car to the sea, the roads are comfortable, there is no parking problem.

Nik (Owner's Husband) meet with us in the entrance of Lithi. He helped us to carry our heavy luggage. You should park your car along the entrance way of Lithi. In Chios, all villages have narrow ways. Therefore, you should park your car in a parking place and walk. The House have a sight of sea. You have everything in house what you need. It is good decorated. You think, the owner has been left house just a minute ago and you came in. House have tree air conditioner, two bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, tree room to sleep a garden. You can take your breakfast in camellia opposite to Aegean Sea. We liked our neighbors and village people to. They were very helpfully and friendly.

Oh my goodness, this place is perfect. Not only do you have two nice bedrooms, two terraces, a fully functional kitchen, and a decent living room, but there is a large private garden bursting with fruit trees. You'll just want to sit out there soaking it all in. House opens nicely to the lovely island breezes. Owners not present but highly responsive by message.

Harry is an amazing person. He took care of us nicely.

The residence is gorgeous, with a lot of attention to detail and fully equipped, making you feel like home. The restoration work and furnishing of the residence is exceptional. In addition the village is very beautiful and the locals are friendly. Make sure to visit the villages tavernas and coffee shops. The location of the village is very convenient at the center of the island, making excursions a short trip of 20-40 minutes to almost all locations of Chios. Fully recommend the traditional residence of Mr. Stamatis at Agios Georgios Sykousis.

The property had everything we needed to be comfortable! Plenty of room, a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms. The renovations are beautifully done.

This small stone house is situated in a remote traditional village on the western coast of the island, away from crowds and all the hassle. Actually it was the main reason for us to chose this property and it provided everything and even more than we expected. The house is even cuter than it shows in the pictures. Decorated very tastefuly, the very soft and white towels, very nice smelling linens, the living room, fire place, kitchen, small patio for a night drink, it was all amazing. Our dear host Stefanos thought about everything. It was a very pleasant welcome surprise for us to find cold beer and cold water in the fridge after a long day of travel. Also small details made the difference. For example, mosqiuto repeller or the medicine for possible bee stungs with labels in english on them were all well thought. Since we travelled by car we had the luxury of reaching secluded beaches close to the village, which I can count at least 4 of them instantly. The nature, the sound of silence, amazing views, good food. All in all it was a very beautiful and fullfilling holiday for us. We definitely consider going back.
