Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Skala

The staff at Porto Skala Hotel was extremely welcoming and kind! Beautiful smiles and so helpful with anything! The morning breakfast buffet was vast and whoever was in the kitchen definitely enjoyed making deserts (even for breakfast!). The small beach in front of the hotel was breathtakingly beautiful! The pool was a perfect place for a family with kids to relax/have fun!

The villa is in a quiet, off the beaten path, area of Skala, but close enough from the center and the beach. The room we stayed in was large, clean and with all the amenities available. We really appreciated the shades and the host who was extremely nice and polite.

The room was comfortable and clean. The location was very good , just three minutes from the beach on foot. Very pleased about our stay.

We loved the pool and gardens. The location was great. We really enjoyed the food and wine the hosts left for us!

Great location centre of Scala bars and restaurant within 5 min walk, and beach within 5 min also, everything as advertised and is a perfect holiday base

We just spent 10 days in this beautiful villa. Fantastic hosts, really kind and helpful. The pool area is so relaxing with an amazing view, comfy sunbeds, shading areas, lovely hammock and nice table for us to take our meals outside. The villa is very spacious, comfortable and super clean. Great location between Skala and Poros. The sunrise is worth getting up early. Would highly recommend :-)

We had an absolutely lovely stay! There was some construction taking place at the villa we booked so we were upgraded to Villa Demetra. We’ll be back! We especially appreciated the airport pick up and drop off!

The location was great - up the hill, there was a great beach near the house, it was peaceful and silent.

Everything, clean, very nice host - very helpfull. Great breakfast delivered in to the room every morning. Private parking on the spot. Pet friendly. We got even room upgrade. Near beaches/restaurants. 10 of 10. 🙂

Fabulous rooms, everything you needed and very clean.

We came to Kefalonia for time away and to visit family. We both loved the help from the owners. Our initial arrival went awry, and a quick phone call to Dionysus fixed that. Once we arrived, his mother Bia welcomed us with hugs and food. We owed her big time. The next day, Dionysus gave us directions to local areas to get the things we needed. His friend Spiros took us by cab to get our car thereafter. Everything went smoothly from then on. We loved being able to come home to cook food and relax on the couch to the views each night. Come morning, with windows open, you could smell the fresh oranges and lemons. The best was Dionysus apricot tree. Our hope is to return again during a different season to see what else the island has to offer. Staying at the Sea View Cottage is something you'll always remember and never regret.

Beautiful olive garden, quiet and picturesque. Very well equipped, with a host that thought of everything from basic medication to body lotion to coffee, tea and olive oil.
