I had a great stay at this dorm. The space was clean, comfortable, and well organized, with everything I needed for a relaxed peaceful visit. The host was very friendly, responsive and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The location was also convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transportation with a huge and peaceful Monastery right beside it and the atmosphere inside the dorm was warm and perfect for meeting new people while still having enough privacy. Overall, this was a wonderful and very budget friendly, high value for money stay. I’d definitely recommend it to solo travelers, students, or anyone looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay. I’d be happy to come back.

Best family hotel within the budget in proper MG Marg market. We booked this hotel at unbelievable price. But on arrival we were very happy seeing it's location and classy rooms. Room and washroom was clean and decorated. The Bengali manager was helpful and gave us whatever we said. Best part is all kind of shops and everything is just in the ground floor of this hotel building. We enjoyed their spa and delicious foods. They served us in the room. Even cleaned the room after our dinner..

Cleanliness, maintenance, well behaved staff

Really exceeded my expectations. Location was so good, if you are looking for a quiet site in the mountains away from city hustle and bustle.

The breakfast location was great, with a view of the Kanchanjunga. (Unfortunately, it was fogged in and not visible during our stay). The food had a great variety and they menu varied every day. Plus, they made fresh dosas and omlettes. The dinners were also excellent, varied menu during our four-day stay. We would particularly like to recognize the staff, who were ever helpful and polite. Divya and Pem deserve special mention. At our dinners, Divya was sweet and attentive to our every need and comfort. Pem was similarly very attentive to our needs, particularly, Kadha in the mornings as I had developed a cold. All in all, an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Taj Guras.
