United StatesThis booking was so much more than we expected! As a family of 6, it was wonderful to have so many amenities available. The views all around are stunning- we stopped at Kiyotsu gorge, sightsaw the Uonuma Skyline, took in the mountain reflections in the rice terraces, and stopped at 3 foot baths in the area. They even allowed our dog to stay too! Highly recommend booking Urasa Cottage. Thank you for the hospitality and wonderful stay!

The owner was very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with🙂 It is in a very peaceful area and it is a short walk from the train station which is very useful. I will definitely want to stay here again when I return to this town.

JapanI can only say good things about this place. I love every aspect of it and I feel at ease staying here. I wish I stayed longer!
At first I thought my room would be cold at night, but the aircon definitely worked and I slept comfortably. I had a slow morning sipping tea while sitting in the veranda, enjoying the winter view.
The family who runs the place is very nice and the cat is super cute. It feels more like staying with a host family than staying at an inn.

United StatesMy husband and I had a wonderful time at the Tiny House! It had everything we needed--a surprisingly large bed, pots and pans to cook, a nice shower--all neatly organized in a very small space. It was also extremely clean. We rented it to see the Katakai fireworks, and it was perfectly located for this. We also saw Sumo at the festival, a "bull sumo" competition, and the koi museum. It is close-ish (45 minutes or so) to the Echigo-Tsumari art field as well, which was really cool.

Li was a very friendly host. She took time to welcome us and explain everything about the property. The place was extremely comfortable (all new) and made us feel at home immediately. We recommend staying and would enjoy to come back.
The location is great to take a walk by the river and go skiing in winter.

- Breakfast is good and well-priced.
- Hot Spring are the best ( guys (male) think the temperature is a bit too high, really suitable from my perspective).
- Great free shuttle bus to nearby ski resort and the station.
- Really friendly staffs and easy to communicate through English (in whatsapp)
- Provide several unique Japanese sake, great experience for people want to try as many type
