A beautiful, clean and eco-conscious property close to the station and restaurants. Everything is immaculate, I love hinoki, the room smells like a spa. :) On top of everything, the host is such a warm and welcoming person. I loved browsing the books while sipping on the local tea in the room. Kii-Katsuura is a lovely town, I would love to visit again.

The staff were very friendly and extra helpful. They properly explained the features and facilities of the hotel, as well as the rules and regulations. They were also very prompt. Dinner was served exactly at 6:30PM. Talking about the dinner, it was exceedingly delicious and sumptuous. There were a total of 13 Japanese dishes, and the staff took time to explain how to eat them and in what order. The hotel also had both private and public onsens (shared with other guests). My friends and I had the best experience, given that we had just completed our Kumano Kodo. Breakfast was equally delicious. Lastly, we are deeply grateful to the staff member who drove us to the nearest bus station to ensure that we did not miss our forward schedule. Everyone, book your stay at the Yunominesou. It’s super worth it.
