Great staff, delicious breakfast and an amazing views.

The views of Ella mountain ⛰️ was amazing!! Being in nature and monkeys and squirrels coming to the balcony.

Everything from the first to the last second was absolutely perfect. Danushka, her mother, and husband took such great care of me. Apartments are perfectly clean and comfortable, and breakfast is delicious, and the view of sunset is breathtaking. Only 5 min drive to the city center, but you are high above in the mountains in silence watching eagle sliding in the skies. Definitely, I'll be back here. Thank you!

Very nice little huts in the jungle, but just 5mins from the city center by tuktuk. It wasnt that easy to find on arrival but the staff was exeptionally friendly. It was quite an adventure to fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle!

A perfect choice to enjoy the beauty of Ella’s hills. Small guest house, with great views from the room (and from the bed) 5 minute ride from Ella train station and center (which the host easily provides when needed) immersed in the green, good breakfast, truly a lovely stay.

Loved the property - the location was a dream. The view from the bedroom was incredible. The hosts gave us huge breakfasts which we enjoyed on the balcony watching an amazing view. Shower was a little weak and there are difficult stairs to climb but this was all worth the view. The host helped us carry our bags up and down and were very helpful. Highly recommend.

I recently stayed at Hive, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best hostels I’ve experienced in my travels. The atmosphere was incredibly social and welcoming everyone was so friendly, and there were activities every night that brought people together. A special thanks to Gehan, who was super helpful with all the information I needed. Funny enough, visiting Ella wasn’t even in my original plan I came here on a friend’s recommendation but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my Sri Lanka trip. Another highlight was meeting Alex, who made the evenings extra special with fun games and a family dinner outing. Most of the games were completely new to me, which made it even more exciting to learn and join in. Everything about Hive Hostel was warm, fun, and memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella, and I’m already looking forward to going back soon!

Great location. A 3 min walk to the Main Street in Ella where all the restaurants and bars are at. Family very nice and great service. Room was comfortable. Only 2 rooms for rent on the property.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice location, only 3 mins to walk to town center, but still nice sleeping in the forest. Breakfast was perfect? but we have been waiting for omelette more about 40 mins, I suggest you serve first eggs and bread, after desert and fruits. It was delicious anyway.

This is a centrally located stay but still quiet. The host, Nimali, is very nice and makes one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The room is clean and perfect. I hope to stay here again if it is available.

The venue is in a good location. Serves breakfast and arranges it for takeaway even before breakfast time if you have to get out early.

Very good location. The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. We took about 15–20 minutes to walk to the train station. It’s also very close to Murunga Yoga Café, where we ended up having dinner three days in a row! Amazing breakfast. Each morning we were served a different breakfast, all of them delicious, varied, and very generous. Without a doubt, it was the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. We really enjoyed having a balcony in our room. It’s a pity that the view is currently affected by a new building under construction in front of it. However, the view from the top of the stairs is still beautiful, both during the day and at night. The room was also equipped with a fridge and an electric kettle, which was very convenient.

Hotel was in a very good location, the staff were friendly and Samee was epically helpfu with everything l and made our stay very enjoyable.

Our stay at Mistara Ella in Ella, Sri Lanka was truly exceptional. It was a brand new hotel and the views are absolutely breathtaking and the pool is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The property has a very peaceful and special atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. What made the stay even more memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. A special thank you to the owner, Mr. Tharaka, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home. If you are visiting Ella, I highly recommend staying at Mistara Ella. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely love to come back.

Amazing big room with bathroom. Super clean & host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and they will serve you at your desired time. Location is great too.

Family was soooo sweet and kind. We used their refrigerator for our drinks. The second and third floor rooms have amazing views!!! Breakfast was a good value and yummy

Arawe retreat is an amazing place in Ella. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food was very tasteful. We are really happy that we booked this place even though it was only for one night.

The stay was amazing. The staff was available for us 24/7, and we also enjoyed the breakfast every morning in front of the waterfall view. Such a good stuff!

The place is amazing. The cottage has a lovely pool which is super nice after a long day or just spend the day there and rest. The rooms are bigger than mentioned and there is a fridge as well. The staff is extremely nice ans helpful, they can help with transportation to the center and back to the hotel if you wish. They also welcomed us with a kind message and congratulated us for our wedding anniversary, which was very thoughtful 😊
