The old building is full of history, you feel like staying in a museum! I did not use the pool, but it looked very clean. The place is cluse to a busy little town, but you would not know it is there. The staff was very attentive and looked after me. This is a wonderful place to get away from the tourist bubble!

Overall it was a relaxing experience and this place had a must see view of udawalawe .

I had a lovely stay at Green Paradise Cottage, the garden was so beautiful with interesting plants, and the family were really friendly. They gave me traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and also I asked for dinner in the evening which was so welcome having arrived at 7 and travelling by bus to get there. One of the family also ran safaris, so organised it through them really easily and I had an amazing time seeing a whole family of elephants by the lake-very lucky!

Such a chill and peaceful stay The place is surrounded by nature, with comfy rooms and a super relaxed atmosphere. Safari arrangements were on point—well organized, on time, and led by knowledgeable guides, making the whole experience smooth and exciting with plenty of wildlife sightings. The meals were honestly a win: fresh, flavorful Sri Lankan food served in generous portions. The staff were friendly, caring, and always ready to help, which made everything feel effortless. A perfect spot for a laid-back stay and an unforgettable safari experience ✨

The room is well equipped and have everything we need. The area is indeed very quiet. Hosts are friendly and not pushy

An absolute gem of a stay, a wonderful host in a really peaceful setting. The cooking class was fantastic and Prashan is a wonderful cook, he even set us up a table under the stars with our own fire (just to note the cooking class may be free but you do pay for the food 3000pp) but it's still well worth it!!
