The best hostel I ever stayed at. The owner Jonti is a truly genuine and great guy that shines a warm welcoming feeling. Despite the cyclone Ditwah happening Jonti gave us great advice and took care of us. Really glad I was staying at his place when it occurred. Everything was clean and maintained, the view of his garden where you see plenty of different animals was amazing. Eventually I stayed there for 5 days.

I loved this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The owner was incredibly friendly, answered all my questions, and even offered me a welcome tea. The room and bike rental were very reasonably priced. My room was clean and comfortable, and I was even allowed to use the washing machine for free.

The Ultimate Base for Anuradhapura Exploration! Wow! What a fantastic stay right in the middle of Anuradhapura town! The central location is unbeatable, putting you right near all the ancient kingdom ruins. We managed to cover all eight sacred sites (Atamasthana) – Jayasri Maha Bodhiya, Thuparamaya, Ruwanwelisaya, Lovamahapaya, Abhayagiriya, Jethawanaramaya, Mirisawetiya, and Lankarama – in just four hours (from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM)! This place truly makes ancient city exploration a breeze. Plus, Mr. Bandara and his wife were the epitome of humble and friendly hospitality. This spot is highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this warm and welcoming home. The space itself is the definition of cozy, filled with authentic charm and local style that made us feel immediately at home, not just in a rental. The location was ideal for our adventures. As wildlife enthusiasts, being only one hour's drive from Wilpattu National Park was a huge bonus, allowing for easy early morning safari trips. At the same time, the cultural wonders of Anuradhapura were wonderfully accessible. We made several visits to the sacred Ruwanwelisaya (just 14 mins away). We also enjoyed exploring the vibrant night market.
