My stay at Sadathenna by Secret Leisure was amazing. Its location was convenient to get around Nuwara eliya town and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the room was spacious. One of the best stays in Sri Lanka

Such a great hostel! Very social. Have a nightly family dinner at a fair price / good priced drinks / bonfire, weather permitting. It was so easy to meet people and the owners were very nice. Also love that there's free water refills.

This was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places we stopped during this wonderful trip. We love nature, even wild nature, and this place is unique. To reach it, you have to cross a field and a river. You're surrounded by tea plantations, and the sound of the river is always in the background. It's run by young people who put a lot of love into this place. They prepared an excellent dinner for us, spending very little, and were very kind. The rooms are absolutely comfortable, and the location, right next to the river, is magical. An experience not to be missed.

Nice location, near the lake and very nice staff. He gave me a free ride to the city and helped me a lot. The breakfast was so nice too, he prepared for me even early in the morning. Also they have a very comfortable bed, my most comfy bed in Sri Lanka.

Sailors Cabin is a cute A-frame house with two bedrooms. They provide high-speed internet (we managed almost 100Mbps) and internet powered television. Three people assist you during the stay. Rukshan handles communications, has wonderful English language skills and maintains your internet and their booking.com setup. Each morning, at a time established by you, Sujeewa brings a delightful breakfast up the hill to the cabin. She also maintains the gardens around the cabin. If you have transportation needs, Lakshman will convey you almost anywhere for a very reasonable fee. As he moved around town, I could swear that he was a former mayor of Nuwara Eliya. He knew everyone and they all deferred to him and helped him out (eg: Restaurant reservations). These three people and their service was the core of Sailor’s cabin. It was a wonderful cool spot in the mountains. For the included photos, the first is a view out of the cabin’s back door, the second and fourth are pictures of our breakfast and the third is Lakshman taking us on a boat ride.

The first thing I loved was the view. It was so peaceful, with beautiful mountains and nearby homes. The night view was even more amazing, with the city lights creating a stunning atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and definitely worth the price. The staff were very friendly, and the dogs were even friendlier - dogs are happily greeted us and even acted like little tour guides

Very comfortable stay, the family was extremely kind and ensured breakfast was arranged as your needs. The location was very near lovers leap waterfall and away from the hustle and bustle.

My stay at the Loris Manor has been exceptional. It was storming when we got there. The caretaker Krishna is a gem of a person who tended to everything I needed as I got sick from the sudden change in temperature. There was a cup of hot tea always ready before you as and the breakfast he makes is a 10/10. Initially I booked for 2 nights but with the weather and my fever it was hard to travel, the owner accommodated 2 more nights for me. Krishna also showed me shortcuts to the town and the local market, which was honestly a great plus. You can get most things you need in. 5 min walking distance. Overall, I felt very welcome and safe and this would be my -The place to go- in Nuwara Eliya. Side note- Krishna is a man of many talents. He also taught yoga and is a great chef! Feel free to ask him for yoga sessions and breakfast 😊 The washroom had hot and cold water settings. I also met some lovely people here. My overall stay was nothing but welcoming and good vibes

Everything was perfect. Clean and kind staff. Raja and Franics made the trip perfect. The BBQ was perfect. No complains. Definitely a must stay.

The hosts is an amazing soul. I booked last minute, and it was not an issue for her. She welcomed us with a warm smile and showed us to the room. The room was clean, big comfortable bed and cozy blankets. The bathroom was clean and the best thing was HOT WATER in the shower - the best shower I had in Sri Lanka. As well, there’s a mutual sitting area, a cute cat and a kitchen you can use to make tea or coffee. Breakfast is served which was nice :)
