I stayed at Lake Park Hotel for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, and the boat ride organized by the hotel was a highlight—well worth the money! The rooms were comfortable and offered stunning views of the lake, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our host was very accommodating, and our room was perfect with kettle for coffee/tea in the morning, a/c and a common area fridge to use. Our host loaned us bikes to do the ancient city which was great. Breakfasts in the morning, very good.

Beautiful new cottages with good-quality renovation, hot water, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. A wonderful view from the window: a lake with a huge number of birds. And very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Such lovely hosts, They provided a delicious traditional dinner when we arrived on request. Power cut so very apologetic and provided candles, a UV strip light and turned on car headlights so we could see while eating! Close to historic site.

Everything here is exceptional! I've stayed at many guest houses, but this is by far the calmest and most peaceful place I've ever booked. The owner is very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. The rooms are spotless, and the facilities are excellent for the price. It's also conveniently located close to Parakrama Samudra (just 1.8 km away). I truly enjoyed my freedom here, and this stay has become one of the most unforgettable journeys I've had. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place that is clean, calm, and comfortable, there's simply no better choice than this!

A peaceful and comfortable place to stay in Polonnaruwa. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained. Surrounded by greenery, it’s perfect for relaxing after sightseeing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Great value for money and highly recommended.

The location is perfect. Its near the main road and near any shops or restaurants you'd want to go to. The museum and old city are also within walking distance. I'd recommend arranging a tuktuk tour through the host.

I very much enjoyed staying here. It’s comfortable, quiet, clean, and convenient. Darshana and his mom are very hospitable and easy-going. Nice, friendly atmosphere. If you’re tall, you’ll appreciate the long bed. You can walk to restaurants and the entrance to the old city. Also you can rent a bike if you like.

It was the perfect place for my date. All property was ours and no disturbance. awesome view of sunset and sunrise. The food is also amazing. Whoever wants to take a break from their busy lives this is the perfect place. we had some barbeque experience in front of the house.

Very peaceful, private little cabin in the woods. Perfect if you want to be away from the riff raf of town and don't mind a long walk along the river to town, or taking a 3-wheel a lot. The host was very friendly and arranged breakfast for us for all three days.

The room was perfect, AC if you wanted. I turned it off at night and the temperature was fine. Comfortable bed. Plenty of electrical points. Very quiet. The bathroom had hot water! Good pressure. A little individual shady terrace for relaxing. Fridge and electric jug available. Very good value. Only the father speaks English.

We had great time at R & D Resort during our brief stay there. Host was very friendly and accommodating.
