We loved our stay at Hitha. It was our first stop during our first (two-week) trip to Maldives. Having heard more about the island of Dhigurah, we only booked a couple of nights here and had elected to spend more time on Dhigurah, but in hindsight, we wish we had given more time for our stay at Hitha, all really because of the atmosphere that the hospitable staff create. In fact, we actually seriously looked into/considered a last-minute shortening of our time in Dhigurah after arriving at that island to return to Hitha instead because we missed it and the atmosphere. The place is intimate, clean, and cozy. The team of Farah, Adam, and others make you feel welcome and like you are part of the family. It happened to be my birthday during our short visit, and they surprised me with a wonderful treat. Loved the breakfasts just outside the courtyard on the beach overlooking the ocean as the waves quietly washed the shore (also enjoyed the dinners). The location is conveniently close to the arrival/departure port but also the bikini beach (just a few minutes' walk). They were super helpful at arranging our speedboat transfer from Male Airport and communicated everything we needed to do beforehand. Since our stay was brief, we did not do any excursions with them so cannot speak from firsthand experience, but after seeing some of the video taken during an excursion they led for another guest the day we had arrived, we wish we would have done one with them instead of waiting to do it at Dhigurah. Loved the provision of filtered water, cooled in the common area refrigerator (and not limited to just one bottle a day like another place we stayed). Also loved the provision of separate beach and shower towels. We brought mosquito spray (which I would recommend for the local islands), but it was not very effective, and they suggested some we could get locally, which turned out to be a life-saver!

We recently stayed for two weeks at this amazing guesthouse, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. First of all, the communication with the owners was absolutely flawless. From the very beginning, they helped us arrange our transfer and supported us with every detail. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and friendly, always making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The guesthouse itself feels brand new and has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located in a great spot on the island, perfect for enjoying a relaxing atmosphere after long, sunny days. We were kindly offered a room with additional facilities, including a space where we could prepare our own breakfast or lunch, which made our stay even more convenient. The room was spacious, very clean, and beautifully maintained. We received fresh water every single day, which we really appreciated. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient — the owners always responded quickly and were consistently warm and helpful. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse to our friends and family, and we would happily come back ourselves. It was truly a wonderful experience, and we hope this review helps others choose this place and enjoy their stay on the island to the fullest.

Everything was amazing! The hotel is brand new, very modern, spacious, big window, veeery comfortable bed and pillows and the guy in the reception is so welcoming, friendly and helpful! Location is also very good! 100% recommend it and I wil stay here again!

We really loved our time here, we stayed here because we extended our trip and our guesthouse across the road was booked. We wish we had stayed here longer as this place was really amazing. The room was huge and clean the same as the bathroom, they had a very cute welcome design on the bed, the location is great right by the beach. The best thing is the staff! So friendly and welcoming, everyone spoke great English. The Sri Lankan man I can't remember the correct name ?chanma was so friendly and really went out of his way to be helpful and kind. It was great to chat to him and he makes a great breakfast and even dropped us to the port and waited till the ferry came. Thank you for your hospitality if we come back we will definitely stay here!

Incredibly comfy beds, excellent wifi, big clean bathroom, breakfast every morning delivered in which was tasty! There is a nice garden to relax in too. Can also do your washing on site self service. Excellent value for money. Rifqa who worked there was super friendly and was at the harbour to pick me up. She was very attentive over Whatsapp with any questions I had too.
