We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of the local market, making it easy to explore the island without needing transportation. The property felt very safe and secure, and the hospitality was outstanding. Don Hector was an incredible host who regularly checked in with us and was always available whenever we needed anything. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay on Ometepe with a great location and a host who genuinely cares about his guests, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing space...picture.a Log Cabin in a pristine huge lake with jungle in the back of your lodging. The swimming was refreshing, safe, and very private as the hotel is away from the noise. Truly i wanted to stay longer...did two days. Howler monkey families greeted me in the back balcony . The restaurant was delicious at all hrs. The hotel filled with gardens and green areas . I will def come back. Wifi in the cabins was good

The location was amazing if you want to experience the jungle that Ometepe has to offer. I woke up to the sound of birds and monkies! The view is amazing and the whole farm felt quite and peaceful. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind as well. Having a restaurant on site was convenient (they opened at 6am). The hotel is a bit far from the main road, but you are right at the base of Maderas volcano and not far from a beach to enjoy the sunset. I recommend doing a tour with a guide there! It was the highlight of my time in Nicaragua. They were able to describe the interesting history of the finca, as well as identify birds, animals, plants and insects during our hike. I had a lovely experience. The hotel is definitely not luxury, but the simple living was part of the magical experience. Each room was clean and provided a bug net and fan. The beds were comfortable and clean!

Great location with exceptional view on the volcano. The host is super nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Overall great!

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

Helpfulness and friendliness from the host, the view from the upper balcony was also amazing!

Location was great, within walking distance to restaurants, there's a shop next door which was handy, owner was friendly, gave us the choice of the cabana or a small room, we chose the small room as it was raining heavily and we thought water may seep in. We had problems with the bathroom and the owner fixed them.

I loved the welcome I received, the kind and courteous staff, the wonderful food, and the gorgeous location. Walking distance to other restaurants right on the gorgeous lake. It felt safe and clean. Even a pair of Yellow Nape Amazons visit the neighbouring tree each night! What a treat...
