I love the location close to the Ruamahanga River. Our hosts allowed us a late check-out which gave me time to pop down to the river and catch a number of trout on the fly rod before our departure. We enjoyed walking around the garden, tasting some of the wines and learning more about recent vintages and characteristics the region for wines.

Te Rangi Lodge is a truly special hideaway in a breathtaking setting. We enjoyed a fantastic two-night stay with my father and son while exploring the Wairarapa for fly fishing.
